I have a question bank with many question organized into categories independent of courses, since year after year I teach the same course to different students.
I often wish when setting a quiz I could tell which questions I have already given to a particular course so as to avoid or minimize giving them the same question.
I some cases I have different versions or difference phrasing of the same question used for practice and would like to give the course a version they have not yet gotten.
