MOODLE_405_STABLE
How to reproduce the issue (maybe with less steps already happens but just in case)
- Open the app using an Android device
- Log in as a student
- Open a forum, write a post attaching a video recording and then an audio recording, post it
- Go to Private files: record a video and an audio.
- Check that the second video doesn't have audio or in some devices you cannot record it and there is a message saying "Can't record video during voice calls"
As mentioned there are two behaviours:
- it allows the second video but the audio is not recorded - that happened using the following Pixel devices:
- Pixel (version 12) - "physical" device
- Pixel 6 Pro (version 15) - cloud web mobile testing platform
- Pixel 8 (version 14) - cloud web mobile testing platform
- it doesn't allow the second video to be recorded - that happened using the following Samsung devices:
- Galaxy S8 (version 7) - cloud web mobile testing platform
- Android tablet samsung (version 11) - "physical" device
Comments:
- "physical" device in the sense that I had it in my hand
- cloud web mobile testing platform => I accessed the device online, the device is real too
- If you kill the app and open it again, then go to private files you can record a video (and it has audio)
- After recording the video you can already see that there is no audio, so this doesn't seem related to the way the file is saved.
- This doesn't happen on an iPad.
