it was commented @ dev chat that we were missing moodle.org forum emails since some hours ago.

Then I tested in another real 2.7.2 site and they seem to be working ok.

Then looked in moodle.org admin->server->scheduled tasks and detected that there are no executions after Wednesday 12:05 (EU TZ), that is, if I'm not wrong since 14h20m ago right now.

So it seems that the cron execution of the scheduled tasks is completely halted, not sure if because of the cron (OS) invocation itself or something within php-land/our code.

Sure you will be able to find the cause of the problem.
