Log in as admin

Navigate to Plugins > Plugins overview in site administration

Uninstall OpenAI API provider and remove directory when prompted

Navigate to General > AI > AI providers in site administration

Press Create a new provider instance

Confirm the Azure AI API form loads (you'll see fields such as Azure AI API key, Azure AI API endpoint, etc...)

If you uninstall the OpenAI provider plugin, then the form for creating a new provider instance no longer works because of the hardcoded assumption of its presence:

See https://moodledev.io/general/development/policies/component-communication#general-rules-for-inter-component-communications for why we generally don't allow such undefined plugin dependencies. Similar to ~~MDL-84765~~
