At the moment lesson activity has following dates:

• Available from
• Deadline

After the Deadline lesson is not available for the students.

We propose adding a due date (including overrides) that would work same as in the assignment activity. So students would be able to take the lesson after dues date, but that would be overdue.

This improvement may help implementing penalties https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-80984 as well as make assessment activities more consistent.
