push your local main branch to your personal github ensure that your personal github has it's default branch set to main create a new commit on a new branch: git checkout example_pr git push origin example_pr create a pull request * against your own repository, not moodle/moodle * confirm it is closed automagically Not much to test, just verify that the latest PRs @ https://github.com/moodle/moodle/pulls have been closed with the agreed message (see comments).
