On page /course/management.php you can sort courses by time created (ascending/descending). However, if a user creates a new course by restoring a backup course file, then the former inherits from the latter the 'timecreated' value on the mdl_course table. This is a quite common method of creating new courses, particularly when the local_course_templates plugin is in use. The 'Course copy' feature in Moodle 3.9.+ also has this problem.

It would be great if there would be an option to have the 'timecreated' value be the current time in restored courses.
