Every resource or activity allows roles to be set. A topic/section does not allow roles to be set.

Sometimes, within a course, you would like sections or topics to be update by different people. For example, I have a course that has this build up:

• Topic A - all teachers can edit
• Topic B - Only Teacher A can edit
• Topic C - Only Teacher B can edit
• Topic E - Student A should be able to edit
• Topic F - Student B, Teacher C should be able to edit

Etc.

This would make for a more vivid course.
