It would be very valuable to have the ability to override a local role on a single course section rather than the whole course. Use cases of this could include:

• In a highly regulated environment, where courses are taught by multiple teachers, giving each teacher edit rights to his / her section(s) only.
• A graduate seminar course where each student teaches a section.
• A situation where you want to give a trusted student / mentor visibility into to a specific section, but not all sections without having to override the visibility on all activities in the section.
• A person assigned to moderate all resources in a section without having to override each activity itself.

This would likely require:

• The ability to assign a role in a section context.
• Creating section capabilities similar to course capabilities.
• Adding the override local role GUI to section administration.
