Currently, if you remove the email from the gradebook with user policies settings, email visibility is removed from everything. However, the email is needed when enrolling users to ensure you select the correct student (an other places as well). Please add an option to remove the email just from the gradebook. There's enough on the screen in the gradebook as is.

It would be great to have this option at the course level, but at least at the system level.
