Description of the issue
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The groupings feature is 'experimental' in Moodle 1.9, but extremely useful and supported by many modules. For instance, teachers might
have classes with hundreds of students, who have their course groups set up something like this:
- Grouping "Level" with 2 groups (Undergrad, Postgrad) -> useful for setting different assessment pieces
- Grouping "Tutorials" with 5 groups (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) -> useful for separate tutorial discussion forums
- Grouping "Lab exercise" with 3 groups (Paris, Amsterdam, Seattle) -> useful for semester-long assignment groups
The teacher might want to set up Adobe Connect rooms for the Lab exercise groups to collaborate on their project, but the only option they have is 'no groups' or 'groups', and the latter will create meeting rooms for all 10 groups (each student would see 3 rooms per activity) instead of the desired 3 rooms (1 per student).
Expected Behaviour
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ability to create an Adobe Connect activity with rooms for each of a subset of groups (i.e. grouping)
Notes
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Groupings is no longer considered 'experimental' in Moodle 2: http://docs.moodle.org/19/en/Groupings_FAQ#Why_is_the_groupings_feature_experimental.3F
