Content in Moodle Mobile App not processed through Moodle filters

XMLWordPrintable

      Issue Summary
Moodle content is not processed through Moodle filters when accessed through the Moodle Mobile App (tested on Android).

      Description
It is not currently possible to display content that is normally processed through filter, like multilangsecond and generico, in the mobile app. Instead, you see the unfiltered markup tags in the mobile app.

This issue was recently reported in the Moodle forums. See https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=311725

      What I expected
I expected course configuration and content to be available in the mobile app as it is in a browser.

      Why we need this fixed
We have a desire to deploy our courses using the mobile app. All of the courses on our website are multilingual using the {mlang} tags. At the moment, we can't even offer our courses in one language without modifying all aspects of the courses.

Note: We are just starting to explore the potential of the mobile app for delivering content. While I am not familiar with how it works, I suspect that it just displays whatever is sent to it by the Moodle mobile web service so feel free to re-classify the issue if necessary.
