How to add cohort members to group for moodle 2.3 version

      Hi,
      I new to moodle. I have installed moodle 2.3 version on my computer. Now, i want to add cohort members to group. Is it possible in moodle 2.3. I know there is a groupsync plugin available for moodle 2.4, but i want the similar kind of plugin for moodle 2.3 version.I have also tried cohort-LDAP group sync plugin, but even that is not working. please suggest something.
