We don't allow users to have a "private files" area on our Moodle, so we have disabled the private files repository. We'd like to allow our users to use the mobile apps but the first option available after connecting is to "Upload".

If a user attempts to do this then they aren't informed that this is not allowed, it simply displays the "Uploading to your private files area" dialogue constantly on Android and (worse) actually uploads the file on iOS. Until this is fixed I don't think we'll be able to enable these apps due to the potential number of support queries and storage issues.

To replicate the issue, disable the Private Files repository on your Moodle instance, log in on the app and attempt to upload a file.
