This issue only needs to be tested in 1 device. Create a database that contains { or } in its templates. There's one already created in our 4.4 site > Triaging course > MOBILE-4743 . Create at least 1 entry. In the app, open the database. Check that no error is displayed, you can view the entry (both when viewing the list and when viewing a single entry) and the { or } characters are displayed properly. Go to add a new entry. Check that no error is displayed and the { or } characters in the add entry template are displayed properly.
