There are several Web Services (core_calendar_get_action_events*) that can be used to obtain a general overview of upcoming activities for a user.

We should generate a local notification at the end of each week so the student can receive a notification by Monday with all the work due that week.

For that, we could use the core_calendar_get_action_events_by_timesort WS
