When you press the back button, the topic list stays at the same position and is displayed till the animation end.

      I think two solutions:
      a) make the content follow the animation (obviously it's the expected result but may be difficult to implement)
      b) hide the content as soon you press the back button, before triggering the animation. It's quick fix till we tackle back a) but it should improve the glitch greatly I imagine. You also can play with the way you hide it. For example try to see if fading the content help to make the all thing pleasant for the eyes. Fading is the way JQM went for most of their default animations.

PS: Note that the "select arrow topic icon" does follow the slide animation. (maybe it is a background image it would explain it behave differently from div, I didn't check it...)
