Moodle App - Student:

1) Open a glossary configured "Approved by default" to No

(p.ex. master 'Format entry list with ratings')

2) Prefetch that glossary 

3) Go offline

4) Add an entry while offline

5) Go online, and synchronise

6) See that the entry is in the correct pace (depending on how is it shown, for example alphabetically), see that there is no difference visually if they are approved or not

7) If you tap on that new entry you will see "This entry is pending approval"

I am suggesting to indicate visually, for example with a light grey background, so that the user do not need to tap on the entry to know it is not approved (yet)
