Students are currently unable to view a teacher's assignment feedback comments via the app.

When a tutor grades an assignment the student can see the grade, and if the tutor reopened the assignment the student can add a new attempt, but the app doesn't provide any way for the student to see the teachers feedback comments (for example to explain why the assignment was reopened or what improvements the student is required to make). The app does seem to provide some functionality around submission comments, but these are not the same thing.

Not only does this seem an odd omission from the app (unless I'm missing something) but it would also mean the app could be used as a workaround for the following bug which is currently preventing students from being able to access assignment feedback on iOS devices via the browser: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-67442
