- Check the keyboard is enabled and the entry text to write a new message focused.

Moodle Mobile 3.1.0
Tapping "new message" at the bottom brings up the keyboard, but the keyboard focus is not always in the chat field. So the user types and nothing happens. They have to re-tap the chat field to actually compose their message.
