(Raising this issue here, to be discussed once this reaches the Community Contributions Team, as suggested in Matrix.)
MoodleCloud has some user-facing strings that are specific to the project (like the "user quota drop-down"), and not translated at this time. This means the user experience is not great when using languages that otherwise offer a complete translation.
In the past, a solution to this was to create a "mock" contrib module (https://moodle.org/plugins/local_moodlecloudsignup - untouched since 2016) that ends up showing up in Amos and being translated. This is not great, since it requires an entry in the plugin directory which only contains a language file.
I would like to discuss a better solution, so that MoodleCloud users can enjoy a fully translated site and a better experience overall.
