Tracker issues have the capability for votes to be cast in favour of them. However, in this is just one perspective. It does not take into account those whom are against an issue, and would want to make their feelings known in the same manner.

Comments can be additionally added but they would then have to be counted separately and are not an automatic metric.

The need for this new feature, for me has arisen from MDL-84291.
