'Error writing to database' when using marklar editor on moodle.org

      This has been biting me the last few days on moodle.org

      1. Use marklar editor
      2. Go to a using moodle forum
      3. Write some markdown (e.g. "hello world")
      4. Press 'preview'
      5. Submit to post your forum post

      Expected results:
      Forum post is sent succesfully

      Actual results:
      Error writing to database
