Currently the "Testing instructions" field description is: "A detailed description of this issue. Please include: FULL STEPS that developers should take to reproduce the problem, as well as information about WHAT YOU EXPECTED and WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS for you."
The testing instructions field is not used for this. It is used to define any additional acceptance conditions/criteria (a standard and widely used testing term for what this field is) when closing defects. I have canvassed several different people when asking what goes in this field and have received a different answer from each one. Some people think that this field is used to define: "A detailed description of this issue. Please include: FULL STEPS that developers should take to reproduce the problem, as well as information about WHAT YOU EXPECTED and WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS for you." MD defined the field as additional testing instructions required to pass the bug. i.e. acceptance conditions/criteria or "Additional" testing instructions.
