I can upload a file attachment in a forum post, but the saved post does not show the uploaded file attachment.

In replying to a post in the Wiki community forum at http://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=106409, I find that I can upload and apparently save a file attachment to a post reply. However, the saved post does not show a link to the saved file attachment. But if I edit my post, then I can see the attached file link and can download the file. So the file appears to have been saved.

In my case, I was logged in as a Moodle community user. I was attaching a vanilla MS Word (1997-2003 file compatible format) doc with no spaces in the file name.

To reproduce problem:

1. Create a reply post to a post in the Moodle community forums.
2. Attach a file. Save it.
3. Your saved post will not show a link for the file attachment.
4. Edit your saved post. You should see your saved file attachment in edit mode.
