In Configure destinations for incoming messages I ticked the boxes for Subscribed forum posts online and offline to appear in a popup window. They never did (I suppose the wording "popup window" needs changing), but my unread messages list quickly grew out of control and so I unticked both boxes.

Despite subscribed forum posts having a destination of email only, I keep receiving messages in the moodle.org UI about them. Also, I can't figure out the logic of the messages e.g. a message from Anthony Borrow consists of a forum post notification made by me (see screenshot). Why is the message supposedly from Anthony?
