XMLWordPrintable

The QA testing site may be used for running this test, though you'll need admin access (see the QA testing guide for details of how to request admin access). Begin just after the hourly reset to give yourself plenty of time to complete the test! Alternatively, you can use your own test site.

You'll also need a Flickr API key and secret, please refer to this document on how to get one.

      • Please note: Flickr API key creation is currently available for Pro accounts only, so feel free to ask in the QA chat for a testing credentials.

      Setup

      • Ensure your site is using HTTPS.
      • Ensure enableportfolios setting is enabled in Site administration > Advanced features.
      • Go to Site Administration > Plugins > Portfolios > Manage portfolios
      • Ensure "File download" portfolio is enabled and visible.
      • Set "Flickr.com" to "Enable and visible" and click Settings.
      • Enter the "API key", "Secret string" and copy the "Callback URL" in the text below the fields, it looks similar to "https://qa.moodledemo.net/portfolio/add.php?postcontrol=1&type=flickr"
      • Back to your Flickr key page and add the "Callback URL" you copied
      • Create a course with a student enrolled and a forum activity.
