From an interface point of view, I personally think that the database search tool should be at the top of the screen. When you have a long list (the moodle plugins DB for example), when you first go into the activity, unless you are already familiar with the tool, it is not obvious that you can search until you have trawled to the end of the list. For new users, this is frustrating. I appreciate that screen space is at a premium, but the search tool is too important to hide it away at the bottom of the screen (usually out of view).

Anyone agree?
