A user is assigned the role of a teacher at the course level (only one place for this user). This teacher is assigned using the hiddenassign option and this is indicated beside their name but their name is still displayed on the course outline page along with all teachers (as viewed by a guest and student). Changing the options in "define roles" for the student and the guest does NOT correct the issue.

Issue also the same for teachers assigned at the site level but assigned as hiddenassign. There names are still visible on the course page.
