Log in as admin.

Create a course with an assignment activity.

Enrol a student in the course.

Log in as the studen.

Navigate to the course, then the assignment activity & add a submission.

Log in as admin.

Navigate to the assignment in the course.

Go to Submissions.

Use the checkbox in the submissions table to select the student.

Click on the "Download" bulk action presented in the sticky footer.

confirm that the file download is triggered and the modal is automatically closed.

Steps to recreate:

Login as admin
Create a course with assignment activity
Create a user & assign them to the course
Login as new user, navigate to course then the assignment activity & add a submission
Login as admin
Navigate to the assignment > submissions tab
Select the new user
Choose 'Download' from the menu at the bottom

'Download selected submissions' pop-up appears as expected

However if you click 'Download', the file is downloaded but from a user perspective I would expect the pop-up to close but this isn't currently happening.
