HTML-rendering filter in activity name displays code as text in Activities overview

      I reproduced this in a local site with MathJax filter enabled, and with the admin setting formatstringstriptags disabled.

      I have an activity with MathJax in its name: Announcements $$(a+b)=2$$

      If go to Activities overview, I see the following:

      In the course page and course index the MathJax equation is rendered as it should.

      IMO the Activities overview should either:

      • Format the string and also run the JS of the filter, so the Mathjax equation is displayed, OR
      • Not format the string at all, so the HTML is not added and you see the raw name.
