We are a team of teachers who want to work on a kind of master course. This master course would aggregate all the work and bug fixes for each subject we teach.

Currently, it's a lot of work to import parts of the master course into the individual courses and to fix all the issues in those individual courses. If I have an improvement or a bug fix in the master course, I have to correct it manually in all the other courses. This is not efficient.

It would be great if, during the import process, we could define whether a material is linked or copied.

It would also be great to be able to drag the desired material to the correct location within the destination course.

I'm envisioning a visualization similar to Norton Commander, with two scrollable areas showing the tree view of the course content. After dragging a tree  or a branch of the tree to the desired position, a pop-up menu should appear, where we can specify whether the content should be linked or duplicated.

I would be pleased to create a visualization or provide further support by answering any questions.

Thanks for this great software anyway!

      Greetings,

      Thomas Reggelin

PS: I'm a teacher in Hamburg using the solution that Hamburg provides. I don't have a clue which is the current version of our moodle system. In a forum the version 4.1 is mentioned
