For this test, you need: 2 user accounts with the "forum tracking" option set to "Yes, highlight new posts for me" in the Forum preferences for the users. a course with a forum.   Testing steps: Log in as the first user (user 1). Access the forum activity and post a discussion message. Log in as the second user (user 2). Access the forum activity and check that the post by the first user is highlighted (in yellow). Go back to the course page. Access the forum activity again. This time the forum activity should not be highlighted.
