TinyMCE: Equation editor doesn't always handle pointy brackets correctly

      Apologies I'm not an expert in TeX, but hopefully the steps below explain the issue.

      1. Open the equation editor in the text editor.
      2. Type 0<x<1
      3. Note how the equation looks in the equation preview
      4. Hit Save equation
      5. Note how the result is (0 i.e. different to what was displayed in preview.

      Interestingly x<0<1 seems to work ok in the editor.

      Also note that typing 0<x<1 directly into the editor with $$ before and after the equation works correctly.
