Redis authentication breaks cache configuration page

      In the redis cache plugin, if you set a password and authentication fails it breaks the configuration page and it's not possible to fix the issue or switch to another cache store as you just get an error message (saying "NOAUTH authentication required").

      This is similar to MDL-65941 but doesn't appear to be exactly the same. It's not clear to me yet whether it is a regression of the fix for that or if it's a separate issue.
