I like to read the update information before updating plugins.
I can filter the updates in the backend (/admin/plugins.php#updatable). The plugins displayed there have a corresponding visual design so that you can quickly recognize them even in the unfiltered view.
The “more information” link points to the relevant version page in the plugin repo.
It would be nice if this link opens in a new window and is not loaded in the same window.

(Updates are often made in cycles, so that several plugins are updated. By opening it in a new window, you wouldn't have to think about it yourself. This doesn't really save much time, but would be a good improvement in comfort).
