Hi, this is an issue regarding the rating's settings changes/reset in the Database activity when creating a 'Preset'.

Steps to replicate:

1. Go to a Course and Turn editing on
2. Click on 'Add an activity or resources'
3. Select 'Database' to create a Database activity
4. Provide a Name
5. Scroll down to the 'Ratings' section 
6. For 'Aggregate type' select ex: 'Average of rating' 
7. Check/tick the 'Restrict ratings to items with dates in this range'
8. Select an appropriate rage or leave the default [screenshot]
9. Scroll down to 'Save and display'
10. Go to the 'Database' activity and select 'Use a preset' [screenshot]
11. In the Presets page, select ex: 'Image gallery' option [screenshot]
12. Select 'Use this preset' and directed to 'Manage fields' page [screenshot]   (Optional: you can add an Entry and login as a student to rate it but it's not required to replicate this issue)
13. Now go to the 'Settings' for this Database activity and open the 'Ratings' section

• Observation: the “Restrict ratings to items with dates in this range” button has been 'unchecked' (and 'Re-checking' this option also resets the time range 'From' 'To' values). [screenshot]

• Expectation: the restriction and date/time range should not be reset after creating a preset.
