THIS IS AN MUA PROJECT PROPOSAL THAT WILL BE OR HAS BEEN SUBMITTED FOR POSSIBLE MUA FUNDING.  ANY EXISTING TRACKER ITEMS THAT THIS MIGHT DUPLICATE SHOULD BE LINKED TO BELOW.

      Overview

The User report is where each students sees all their grades in a course.  Teachers can configure the columns to suit the course. But if a teacher gives a long feedback text it makes the row height for that grade item get very tall.  Visually this distorts the whole layout.

This proposal is for some nice styling and a toggle so that the text feedback is collapsible.

This is a screenshot from the Mount Orange demo site running on Moodle 4.5:

      Summary

      • Project size: small
      • Audience: primary schools, universities, work places
      • Target users: teachers, students

      Goals

Improve the UX experience of consulting grades for students and teachers.

      User Stories

As a teacher, I should be able to enter feedback without worrying about the UX degradation I cause if I write more than a few words.

As a student, I should be able to consult my user report with a good UX. I should be able to collapse long feedback to view grades and expand long feedback to read in detail.
