If enabled, students will have to click a submit button to declare their submission as final. This allows students to keep a draft version of the submission on the system. If this setting is changed from "No" to "Yes" after students have already submitted, those submissions will be regarded as final.

The last bit is not correct.

Steps to recreate:

• Create assignment
• Set Require students to click submit... to No
• Log in as student and submit
• Log in as teacher and check setting.

Expected outcome

The tooltip suggests you can change the setting to Yes after a student submitted.

Actual outcome

This setting is locked and cannot be changed.

Recommended resolution

I'd suggest the highlighted text in the tooltip is deleted, as the behaviour of locking this setting makes sense post submission.
