Problem Description: When a 1.2 SCORM is published using completion tracking versus quiz tracking on Firefox only, the user experiences a grey screen and the SCORM no longer loads. If the user also attempts to re-enter the SCORM in review mode, the SCORM no longer loads. This behavior is specific to Firefox only. It is reproducible on multiple sites, including the latest Moodle demo sites (If using the Moodle demo sites, make sure when you enroll the test student that the test student is active... it may be best to reproduce locally).

      How to reproduce:

      (Video demonstration of the problem)

      1. Create a 1.2 SCORM package with publish settings of "course completion" tracking (not quiz completion tracking) sending Complete or Passed as the status
      2. Add SCORM activity to a course
      3. Set Complete/Passed as activity completion requirements
      4. Add a student user to the course
      5. On Firefox, log in as the student
      6. Take the SCORM
      7. Observe the grey screen appears after completing the SCORM
      8. Observe that re-entering the SCORM also produces a grey screen in Review Mode

      Expected result:

After completing a SCORM using Firefox, a user should enter Review Mode and be able to review the SCORM they completed, just like in other browsers.

      Attachments:

      • 1.2 SCORM tracking completion
      • 1.2 SCORM tracking quiz

These SCORM packages are the same simple packages, but the Publish settings are slightly different in that the completion of course content is what sends passed in 1.2 SCORM tracking completion and completing the quiz is what sends passed in 1.2 SCORM tracking quiz.

      Other important details:

      • This appears to be a possible longer-standing issue based upon a few trackers that have been closed. People likely resolved it by changing their Publish settings in the SCORM.
      • People have asked about this to Articulate support, and when they state the LMS they are on, it is usually Totara or Moodle or Moodle Workplace. This leads me to believe this problem is likely Moodle specific, especially given Articulate's response that is appears Moodle specific given that the packages perform as expected on SCORM Cloud.
