Since 5.0, activities can implement a mod_PLUGINNAME\course\overview class to replace their "index.php" ad-hoc tables.

In versions 5.0 and 5.1, all core plugins have transitioned to the new integration. As a result, numerous deprecated classes and renderer methods, which are no longer necessary, have been marked as deprecated.

This issue concerns eliminating unnecessary methods from the activity plugins. Each method is marked with a @todo link referencing this issue.
