MOODLE_404_STABLE
Dear developpers
We have recently upgraded to Moodle v4.4.3. In our last version (I believe 4.2.1), we used to have the option to immediately see filters when browsing the list of users. This is still the case for the page where you can manage users in bulk:
Alas in the new version, we are forced to click on the button 'Filters' every single time, then remove the old filter if there was any set, set a new filter and then apply the filter.
I can understand some people like a clean environment where the default filters feel like clutter, but to us this is a huge step back. I would love to see the option return where you can choose to have a filter of choice be ready to use like it used to be the case (and opt out if you rather not have these filters on the screen).
I am sorry if this is a known bug or if I am not looking in the right place. I have tried looking for solutions, but even our host cannot find a solution.
Edit:
What also drives me nuts is that the 3 buttons (Edit, suspend and delete) now also require an extra click instead of just being to click them immediately. I guess they did this because the UI looks less cluttered, but now it requires a lot more extra user input. I'm taling about this:
I can live with this though, it's just one extra step instead of like 5, but definitely not an improvement for our organisation .
Thanks in advance for your input!
