Currently, the lesson component only exposes basic activity information to global search (the search area "Lesson - activity information"). Search for lessons would be more impactful if it supported indexing of pages so learners can find relevant lesson material. In our lessons, our pages contain the most detailed material, so the value of search overall is diminished. Other users may have similar experiences.

I believe since lessons can have conditional paths for users, displaying all results for all pages could possibly be misleading if the learner doesn't have access to that content, so we'd have to consider that in the solution.
