technical starting situation:
The instance type can be set when creating an activity. It is not possible to define your own default value for this setting.

operative initial situation:
The majority of our lecturers use BBB purely as a live conference platform. This means that the recording function is hardly ever used. The instance type is almost never changed when the activity is created.

administrative improvement:
I would like to be able to define the default instance type. In my case, I would define “Meeting only”.
If a teacher needs a different type, they can set it themselves.
