      Problem Statement

Moodle's Pages and Book resources currently lack interactive text formatting options for students, limiting their ability to engage in active, constructivist learning and hindering accessibility. This gap impedes things such as active and personalized learning.

      Proposed Solution

Implement a simple in-page text formatting toolbar that allows students to have 3-5 colour options for:

      1. Highlighting text
      2. Changing font colors on selected text
      3. Adding background colour

These  options could be saved for further reflection and studying.

Benefits would be a more constructivist and learner-centered environment, engagement and motivation with the resources and hopefully supportive of Accessibility and UDL practices.
