Setup:

To test this , the site needs to be registered with Brickfield. If you don't have a Brickfield account, you can register here .

Activate your site with Brickfield in "Site administration / Plugins / Admin tools / Accessibility / Brickfield registration" by entering the API and Secret keys.

Enable analysis requests in "Site administration / Plugins / Admin tools / Accessibility / Accessibility toolkit settings".

Test:

Download and restore the test course: [^a11ynotanalysedtest_course.mbz]

Add the "Accessibility review" block to the course.

Click on the "Submit to Analysis" button to request that the course is be analyzed by using the accessibility toolkit.

Run cron. (You should edit the brickfield cron tasks at Site administration > Server > Tasks > Scheduled tasks to run every minute to speed up this analysis process so that the brickfield task is run the very next time you run cron.)

The course will have a total of seven resources.

When the accessibility check has been completed, turn on the heatmap (eye icon) on the accessibility review block.

The heatmap messages should show as follows:

Resource name: Heatmap message.

Small files (resource (file)): Failed - error count: 1.

Forum (forum): Passed.

Assignment 1 (assignment): Passed.

Page with accessibility warning (page): Failed - error count: 1.

Page with accessibility error (page): Failed - error count: 2.

Big file 0 (resource (file)): Failed - error count: 1.

Folder with accessibility warning (folder): Failed - error count: 1.

Update to use the code patch.

Purge all caches to ensure that the new CSS is ready.

Reload the course main page and enable the heatmap again.

The heatmap messages should show as follows:

Resource name: Heatmap message.

Small files (resource (file)): File resource description analysed. File content not analysed. Error count: 1.

Forum (forum): Passed.

Assignment 1 (assignment): Passed.

Page with accessibility warning (page): Failed - error count: 1.

The Accessibility Toolkit heatmap has a slightly misleading message for the analysis results for the following modules: file(resource), folder, SCORM, IMSCP, and H5P.

The two types of heatmap messages, on the course main page, are "Passed" and "Failed: error count x".

We would like to introduce a third heatmap message for the above specific modules, as their moodle description gets analysed, but NOT their internal content. As we don't analyse the content, a "Passed" status could be seen as misleading, as the file or SCORM internal content could still contain errors, but is beyond the processing capacity of the toolkit.

The third heatmap message would be "<moduletype> description analysed. <moduletype> content not analysed. Error count x", and instead of being green or red, would be a grey neutral surround colour.

As part of this code change, we are also adding in the Accessibility analysis for the H5P name and description, as these are currently missing from the analysis.
