Scheduled task failed: Award badges (core\task\badges_cron_task),Invalid course module ID:

The CMID I am provided points to a badge with criteria that includes a role which is no longer defined in our system. The badge has been issued and so the criteria are locked.

I tried creating a new role and assigning it the role ID that was set which then populated in the criteria however when I ran the task again, it failed in exactly the same way. I don't know if this is part of the issue or not.

I also tried disabling the badge and the task still failed.
