Since some of us are administrate large moodle with a lot of users, that are organized in global groups/cohorts mostly it would be great to have the option to assign a role to all users of a global group/cohort like it's working in manual enrolement in courses. It doesn't need to be syncronised so that users who are later added to the group get assigned that role automatically but the window we already have to select the users which we want to assign a role (in system or course category context) should have a filter for "show only users of global group" or even better all the filters we have in the website administration user list.

So we had the option to not have to assign all users one by one and find them by their names. Because this is a pain in the a** if you have a large
