Workplace List format has the ability to display how much of a course has been completed via a progress bar at the top of the course, whereas Topics format doesn't indicate this overall status via the format. This is handy and maybe could be worked into the Topics format so it's not entirely lost if Workplace List format is deprecated: WPOS-59.

Workplace List format also does not have a toggle-able Section 0, and that is a useful feature to keep around. It's a nice to have the option of a forced-static section 0 and maybe this could also become a setting in Topics format to enable or not. This setting is already incorporated into the "Flexible Sections" format which has the setting to allow or disallow a toggle-able Section 0.
