After upgrading from Moodle 4.2 to Moodle 4.3.0 & 4.3.3, I have encountered an issue with quizzes utilizing random questions, which I believe is due to the introduction of enhanced search/filtering capabilities in the question bank for randomization in Moodle 4.3.0, as detailed in MDL-72321 https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-72321.

I then upgraded to Moodle 4.3.3 as I hoped MDL-79708 https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-79708 could potentially fix the error. Unfortunately the error still persists  

I have quizzes created prior to the upgrade to Moodle 4.3.0 that use random questions. Currently, I am in the process of reorganizing question categories, moving questions from a "System" category to new, course-specific categories. As such, it is necessary to update the random question settings in these existing quizzes to point to the new categories.

However, upon updating the random question settings to reference these new categories, attempting to view the associated questions via the "(see questions)" link results in an error displaying "question/invalidcategory".

This error occurs regardless of whether the questions in the new category were imported from a Moodle instance prior to version 4.3.0 or were created anew within Moodle 4.3.3.

Steps to replicate:

1. Update a random question in a quiz to point to another category.
2. Attempt to view the questions by clicking the "(see questions)" link.
3. Observe the "question/invalidcategory" error.
